Well established and having sold steadily at home but also to an international clientele of collectors we are based in London and have been members of the BADA since the 1960’s. J.Roger Antiques specializes in fine pieces of antique furniture of small proportions, which are needed in large spaces just as much as in small rooms., combining usefulness with beauty of line and depth of colour that only antique wood can provide. We have carefully chosen examples of mainly late 18th century mahogany and some period pieces of painted furniture of really good quality and elegance which fit into a contemporary interior as well as a more traditional home, their timeless design adding considerably to the ambience of any setting.
Our stock of mostly English late 18th century pieces of the Sheraton period, such as sofa and card tables, chests of drawers, occasional tables and pembroke tables, chairs , kneehole desks ( always with an emphasis on colour and patination) arranged with mirrors, hanging shelves for collections, prints, lamps, candlesticks, and decorative objects all combine to give an elegant and appealing look.
